Overview
A Student Allowance is a weekly payment that can help with your living expenses while you’re studying.
Work part-time up to 20 hours a week while studying and full-time in the holidays, depending on your visa conditions.
Students studying a level 6 course in New Zealand can apply for a post-study work visa. The duration of the course is 60 weeks or more. The student completed two courses with a duration of 30 weeks, each with the second-course level higher than the first.
English Proficiency Requirements:
At least 5.5 in each of the four IELTS bands with an overall minimum score of 6.0 and above for undergraduate programs. Graduate courses, on the other hand, require a minimum score of 6.0 in each band and an overall IELTS score of 6.5 and above.
Expenses in New Zealand:
• Tuition fees: NZD 30,000 – NZD 90,000 per year
• Accommodation, Transportation & Food: NZD 18,000 – NZD 25,000
• Study visa: NZD 375
